First things first. I have been called to task, and reprimanded severely. Jessica, I’m very sorry, and I deserve to be cast out forever. My crime? Remember when I went to MAGfest? Way back there? I knit and watched other people play games? Yeah. I didn’t call my cousin to tell her I was in the area. I fail at Family. Jess, I am sorry. I humbly beg forgivness. (can you see the puppy eyes?)

In cheerier news I have ACTUALLY been knitting. Really. It hasn’t been all about the book (although did I mention that it’s done?) I’ve almost finished socks!

So I’m slow- they’re my first pair. I have also finished Tubey (remember that?) I have no pictures because I’m too lazy and sore to get it out of my pre-blocking drawer. :P It is still awaiting the Great Dunking. I’m pondering my next project. I absolutely MUST do at least one baby hat, but that’s hardly a major event. More of a quickie. I have also been finding my roots. While I am a good, old fashoned American Mutt, I can trace back and find that most recently I am Norwegian. Also, I have no ball winder. What do these have to do with each other? Why the nostepinne, of course. I made one with a scrap of dowel from work. See?

Exciting, no? I am totally in love with the colors in this skein of Sock That Rock. Oh man, I can’t wait to see how it knits up. I have also been working on a mystery project. More on that later, but here’s a peek.
