Well, life is moving along here in sunny California.  I’m on the rolls at a temp agency, my car passed emmissions inspection, I have a new driver’s license in the mail, and the dyepots are overflowing.  so much, in fact, that I now have an Etsy store!  I’m having some fun, I’ll admit it.  I’d really like to have a job I can start working next week, but we’ll see.  I have to call them to check in, I think…

I’ve finished a pair of socks (Monkey, done in… um…  I have no idea.  Stash sock yarn, Cherry Tree Hill, i think…) (I love, love, love this pattern!)  and started a new pair in a hand dyed color that I’m not going to talk about since they’re for someone.  So there.  So there is plenty of stuff going on on the knitting front, but I have to be honest.  I am ITCHING to start a sweater.  I really want to do something light and cheerful that I can wear in over air-conditioned offices over the summer.  I dunno, though.  Any suggestions?  Would bamboo be nice for that sort of thing?  I haven’t really played much with knitting bamboo yet…
